Overview

DockLeap is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

Data Collection

DockLeap does not collect any data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No cookies or advertising identifiers
• No accounts or sign-ins required
• No data is sent to third-party services

Local Network Communication

DockLeap communicates exclusively over your local network (Wi-Fi) to connect the iOS app with the Mac companion app. This communication:

• Stays entirely within your local network
• Is used solely to transmit the list of running applications between your Mac and iOS device
• Does not leave your network or reach any external servers
• Uses Apple's Bonjour protocol for device discovery

Information Transmitted Locally

The only information exchanged between the Mac host and iOS app is:

• Names of currently running applications on your Mac
• Application icons (for display purposes)
• App switching commands (when you tap an app to switch to it)

This data is transmitted directly between your devices and is never stored persistently or sent externally.

Third-Party Services

DockLeap does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

DockLeap does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
